Many of you may still know the Reserva as "Brandy". During an inspection at the small distillery a few years ago, it was discovered that sugar cane is used as the basis for its production. This also gives it its fantastically mild aroma.
But in order to be called "Brandy", wine distillate would have to be used as the basis for production. That is why the name was changed. Since then, we call it Reserva 10.
The distillery decided to omit some letters from the label and they now call it Brdy.
