Prolonged ageing brings out intense aromas: dried figs, toasted hazelnuts and green walnuts. Elegant, warm and very liqueur-like on the palate.
This vermouth is made using a solera wine, a long tradition at the Padró & Co. winery.
In the final blend, a sweet liqueur wine is added, in the Tarragona Clásico style, which is aged in 7,000-litre oak vats for 5 years.
Subsequently, a touch of vermouth herbs is added and the wine is left to age for 18 months in sherry casks.
The origins of the Padró & Co. family production date back to 1886 in Bràfim (Tarrragona), a farming village of about 400 inhabitants at that time.
Produced and bottled entirely on the property.
As a small visual highlight, it is bottled in beautiful bottles.
